State of Exit (www.exitfest.org) and Kontra magazine (www.kontraweb.net), with the help of Carlsberg Srbija, are organizing „Fan of the Universe“ exhibition dedicated to Depeche Mode and their first ever performance in Serbia at Tuborg Green Fest. The exhibition opening will be held on the 14th of May in New Moment gallery in Belgrade and will be open for the public up to 21st May.

State Of Exit and Kontra magazine joined forces to organize a fan made exhibition with help of Serbian fans of the band which contributed to the exhibition by giving materials, objects, artwork, records and video works inspired by the band art, as a great way to show their devotion to one of the world most loved bands.

Visitors will be able to see over 70 posters and articles from the press, mostly from the 80s, paintings made by fans, vinyl records, official band releases, concert tickets and posters, pictures from the tour and with the band and videos made by fans. Kontra magazine is celebrating its 5th year anniversary with this exhibition.

The exhibition opening night will also include the promotion of new the Depeche Mode album ‘Sounds of The Universe’ and the promotion of ‘Depeche Mode: A Biography’ written by Steve Malins, published in Serbian for the first time.

Depeche Mode will play in Belgrade, Serbia, for the first time in their career, on 20th of May. The band will be headlining Tuborg Green Festival in Usce Park in Belgrade, together with Ladytron and Motor. Almost all of 35 000 tickets for this event are already sold. Tuborg Green Fest is organized by Live Nation, The State of Exit organization that’s behind Exit festival and Carlsberg Srbija.
